Yes, I don't think this has been done before. This isn't a "come to me for help" topic either.

Let me tell you how this works.

I'm creating a Tamagotchi Survival Guide. I'm the owner of 33 (Soon to be 34) Tamagotchis, and I know a lot about keeping them safe.

You can post your ideas here and chances are if they make sense, and aren't ridiculous, I'll add them.

"This isn't fair! Why do you get to make up the guide!?"

Everybody gets to. I just type it and put it all in one.

First off~ Trips

Going near water? Keep your tamagotchi in a plastic zip-up wallet or ziploc bag. Much less water will get in if you happen to drop it in a puddle or pool. (Can't say the same about the ocean.)

How about mountains? Afraid you'll drop your tamagotchi on a hike? Use a fashionable lanyard to keep your tama on a leash. another idea is to Clip it onto your backpack, if you have one.

"Help! I dropped my tamagotchi in water! It wasn't in a case!"

Before you take apart that tamagotchi totally, unscrew the four screws in the back. Place the tamagotchi right near a fan. DO NOT BLOW DRY YOUR TAMAGOTCHI unless you are using COLD AIR!

This can melt things! NOT GOOD!

"My tamagotchi has a cracked screen because i dropped it!"

Do you have another tamagotchi that does not work? If you know how to open up the screen doner (aka the other tamagotchi.) Unscrew the screw etc, and unscrew the four more screws inside. carefully remove the screen and put in the new one. MAKE SURE IT'S NOT UPSIDE DOWN! I did that once and killed my tamagotchi ; -;

It should work.

------->Don't have a screen? Look on Ebay For a nonworking tamagotchi or damaged one for parts.

DO NOT ASK ME QUESTIONS! Please!

I do not want this to turn into a "come to me for answers" thread!

You can submit entries as much as you want and i'll add it!

Tips for keeping a tama with you at school:

I did this for most of my junior and high school days, first and formost make sure your sound is off... this is the easiest way for teachers to know you have one! You can either pause (which i don't like doing) or like me and keep an eye on your tama all day (and still manage to get all your tama's disciplines, poops, and keep it full and happy). Also don't let your teachers see your tama (or tama's) at all or you won't see them till school lets out at the end of the year.

Wow! Thank you so much! This helped alot! At school you know you can also do this: (just not TOO often)

Ask to go to the bathroom or your locker, then check on your tama. I do that. I also get a pass to go to the band room during study hall and in between going from my homeroom to band, I stop at the bathroom and take as long as i need. then i go to band. This works because you can use the pass any time during your Study hall, so they aren't expecting you at any particular time. Hope this little tidbit helped!
