My Tamgotchis are just standing over their baby...watching it. And then they went back to sleep.

No, you're confused. When the parents leave, they stand over the baby...as you said, only thats them saying good-bye. They don't go back to sleep, they disappear. The baby is already asleep. Hope I helped you out and took out the con in confused. LOL.

Yes, it is. But it's also exciting! Now that the parents are gone, you can raise their babies. They are your new Tamagotchis. The training, caring, and growth processes will start all over again. It's the circle of life !
