Danna is a human - a human we never knew of. For once, a NICE human. She's Tommy's older cousin - she's 12 - and she came round to the house we live in to stay. She found us somehow, and helped us, bringing us all the food we could eat and all the water (and even sometimes juice or, very rarely, hot chocolate!) we could drink. She even got out a big cardboard box and made us a secret house in our room; she sewed us beds and chairs, and made us a food storage area. Danna helps hide us, and she won't ever betray us. We can speak her language, so we've told her about our plan. She was furious when she heard what her cousin had done "I guess he can't really be blamed", she said. "He was only four when he first got a Tama, you know. He thought it was just a toy like any other". Danna is very fair-minded, and doesn't like accusing people of doing bad things.
We all agreed that with a human on our side, we were a much stronger force. A human could leave her miniature cardboard house without being trampled or put in a zoo, at least! The problem was, Danna found it really hard to hide her secret. She's on our side, and she'll go with us, but the problem is, she's just TOO good - she won't leave any work for us. And we're the ones who need to go out there and do the work, and Danna needs to protect us. But Danna, although she's gentle and caring, couldn't be more adventurous. No, we can't leave her behind. She'll have to lead us.
