It looks as if, Bandai.co.jp are re-releasing The Chibi tamagotchi:

Yeah, I saw them on yesasia a couple days ago too. I already bought one from jason a couple months back, maybe it didn't sell enough.... or maybe it sold very well... has Bandai ever done this with another tamagotchi? The toysRus near me has never stocked the tama minis, though they've had it on their website for a while. I'll make sure to pay attention to whether they release tham in the US, but I somehow doubt they will.

I thoughts it was a Chibi 2, like Tamagotchi V2 in Chibi, but obviously not. I saw them a couple of days ago too. A bit pricey, and I do have my US mini, but a JP mini wouldnt be bad. *hugs own mini*

Same here, tamatama, they had it on their website but never stocked them. Then how did my friend have one? She NEVER buys tamas off the net.
