Tamagotchis wanted to see what life was like on earth, so they all built a little, blue U.F.O. and took off. Along the way, something went wrong and they crashed in the ocean(poor tamas :furawatchi: )! Luckily, A professor named Bonzo and his assistant, Mikachu, found the little creatures and saved them. After many tests, the professor discovered that tamas couldn't survive off of earth's oxegen! He built them little, egg-shaped cases so they could survive. Then Mikachu painted the eggs and took them to school, asking kids and teens if they wanted to take care of cute, tiny pets. Everyone in her school accepted but there were TONS of tamas left back at the lab. The professor put insulation sheets into the side of each egg which made the tamas fall into an endless sleep. Then they sold them in stores. Anyone who wanted to take care of a tama just bought one, pulled out the insulation sheet, and the tama would wake up! Thus starting the Tamagotchi craze.
