Martin Androtchi Middle School ended at 3:30. Students stampeded out, as well as Tara, a young 12 year old Violetchi. She always walked home alone, as her parents couldn't afford a car. That day, it was raining hard in TamaTown. Luckily, Tara had brought her umbrella, which her mother had convinced her to take to school that day. "She thinks she's always so right" Tara grumbled, opening the umbrella. "Who?" A low voice asked behind her.
She spun around. It was Christopher from her History class. He was a rather handsome Mametchi. "Huh?" Tara asked. Chris smiled. "Who think's who's so right?" He repeated. "Oh..no one. I was just talking to myself" Tara blushed. He walked alongside her. It was odd that anyone was talking to her, let alone the most popular guy in this middle school. There was an awkward silence as they walked. "So.." Chris mumbled. "Why are you walking with me?" Tara blurted out. She covered her mouth immedietly. It wasn't just the way it sounded, it was the way she worded it. "I mean..." She quickly said. Chris laughed. "To see how you'd react. Haha, now I gotta tell the guys. Catch ya later Tar!" He ran off, laughing.
That was it. It was bad enough that this day was going bad, that it was raining, but now she had embarrased herself in front of Chris. When Tara arrived home, she made a plan. It was going to happen, wheather anyone liked it or not. And it was going to happen tomorrow. For the rest of the night, she refused to eat, be social to anyone.
