Jason looked over to all of his friends, gathered up close together in their classroom. There was no teacher in sight.
"Thank you all for coming on such short notice." He told them.
"But Jason, what's the problem?" Sarah asked, shaking a bit from the worry. "When you called, your voice just... wasn't normal."
"Y-yeah," Shy Lily added quietly, also shaking.
"As you may have noticed, our close friend Sam wasn't here with us at school today." He told them.
"Yeah, well, I thought he was just sick. A virus has been going around, you know." Jason's friend Watson piped up.
"Yes, I thought that too." Jason replied. "But when the school tried to contact his family, they said he had went to school. No one has been able to find him all day."
"Oh, no!" Miley gasped. "Sam... I hope he's alright."
"Y-yeah, me too...." Shy Lily agreed, whimpering a bit.
Jason nodded. "Since you are all quite close friends of mine AND Sam, and show to be hard workers, I thought we all would make a lovely team for finding Sam. Everyone in the school is worried, and I think we're able to find him and bring him back, safe and sound! Who's with me?"
"I am!" Sarah jumped out of her chair.
"Well, alright. I bet we would make a great team, and after all, Sam does mean a lot to us all, right?"
The others nodded in agreement.
"Well then, why are we just standing here?" Watson asked. "We need to get going or else!"
"Right." All of the tamas quickly got ready, and set out into the overcast city.
