Ok, so I just got a tamagotchi and I was playing with it and playing online. I found out that I could visit a king so I wanted to see what that was like. But then it told me that I had to have 5,000 points. So I waited until I had 7 thousand something points and I gave a donation of 5,000. And he never gave me a password!!! So he just took my points and left me there so I couldn't visit. It says it's supposed to give you a password, but it just said thank you very much and went away! So if somebody could tell what I did wrong, please answer this asap. Thanks!

I had the same problem, try donating 1 more point, then another 1 point.

The reason you weren't given the password was because you need to make the donation in 3 or more amounts. As hammie says- try donating 1point and another 1 point as that will make it 3 donations.

His Excellency, the Tamagotchi King, allows only those who are pure of heart to enter his chambers. Therefore, you will need to make a donation to his national charity. However, you must also prove your continued dedication as a charity patron. You must make at least three individual donations, totaling a minimum of 5000 "Gotchi" points to receive a password to visit him. Continue to make donations often to earn up to two more visits with him!

Spudlike is right. You need to make 3 different donations in order to visit him. You didn't do anything wrong. So don't be worried. Make 2 more donations of 1 point each and you will be able to visit the king and he will give you a souvenir. The first souvenir is a ring. (5000 point donation) The second one is a cape. (12000 point donation) The last one is a crown. (30000 point donation) Once you get the crown you will automatically recieve a royal costume. Only adult tamagotchis can wear it. After they are done with it a password will show up. Don't worry, that is a password for the Tamagotchi Corner Shop DS game. If you enter it in the game you will recieve a sofa.
