The Gotchi's Poison Part 3
'I heard you talking last night,' Barry explained, 'I heard about what you were planning to do to Billy. When I found out that you had a treehouse, I automatically started hunting for it. Within 2 hours, I found it. Not only do I know what you want to do to Billy, I know how you are going to sabotage Maths with Mrs Grady and much more! You'd better make me a good offer if you don't want me to just go and snitch it!'
Martin put his hand into his pocket and brought out a handful of cash. 'How much do you want Barry? £5, £10?'
Barry thought for a moment how he could get some hard cash out of Martin, and what Barry said scared Martin stiff, 'No, I don't want £10, or £5, I want £350, cash right now.' Panic swept accross Martin's face. 'I don't have that much! I only have about £12 in loose change, please negotiate Barry.'
'Ok then Martin, how about you're my slave for a year?' Martin began to think. 'Deal!' he said, 'Now, let's get out of here before you try and con Lily out of something.'
At school that day (after Martin had carried all of Barry's books to English class with him), Lily asked where Martin had been that morning. Martin explained the whole thing. 'Well Martin,' Lily whispered trying not to be told off by the teacher for talking during the lesson, 'How about we put some in Barry's lunch too? Then he won't be able to tell anyone!' Martin agreed and secretly (passing notes to each other under the table, they planned how they would meet at breaktime to discuss it in greater detail)
RING! RING! RING! The bell went off and all of the class charged out of the room for breaktime, everyone except Barry, Martin and Lily. 'Take my books to my locker will you slave?' Barry shouted as if he was a great commander bellowing to his subjects what they should do for him. So Martin did. He came back straight after and told Lily that he had been instructed to kick the seventh graders so much that they kicked him back so hard that he almost needed to go to hospital. Straight away, she pulled out a pot of poison that she had been hiding underneath her table and then got to work. But before she crept over to Barry's lunchbox and put some in his sandwiches, she noticed that the poison had shrunk an unbelievable amount. Was it magic?
