The Gotchi's Poison Part 2
As the two left the shop, they could sense that something unusual was happening that day in the village of Claydon. Martin opened his pot and right in front of his eyes, it began to think. Both Martin and Lily thought that its glowing colours were an optical illusion but boy were they wrong. 'So who shall we try it on first?' Lily asked, scanning the pot to hopefully find instructions. Martin paused and thought for a moment, 'How about Billy the baddogotchi, the big bully that lives down our road?' (Lily and Martin were next door neighbours) Lily then replied, 'Maybe that's not such a good idea, I mean isn't death a bit of a harsh penalty for him?' 'But think about what he's done to us, he's pushed into our lockers and then locked them, dropped us off the roof of the school building, forced us to break into the school, spray painted our bikes bright pink before destroying our gardens. It's hardly a punishment,' Martin explained.
Lily's straight face almost instantly turned into a smile. 'Let's do it!' she said, 'But one problem, how do we get him to eat it?' Once again, Martin paused in thought, he had done that numerous amounts of times that day. But this time, he was much quicker to come out with an answer. 'Simple,' he whispered making sure nobody was listening in, 'We just put a little, only a little in his lunch tomorrow. And then when he starts to eat it, slowly he will begin to feel faint and then he will die. Everyone will love it!' Lily began to reply, 'Ok then, meet me by our treehouse, tomorrow morning at 8am before school. I'll bring my poison and we can plan how to do it.' As the duo were discussing this they were walking don the road towards their block of houses (they lived two blocks from the toy shop), and they had already passed the treehouse, the place where they would be meeting the next morning. The treehouse was a place where the they could go to just get away from their parents, go to discuss things (that was what they would be doing) or basically just to chill out. It was their own private space and nobody knew about it. At least, that's what they thought. 'Meet you tomorrow then,' Lily said, when she was standing outside her house, 'And don't be late, 8.00am sharp at the treehouse.' Tomorrow would be a glorious day.
It was 7.45am and Martin was up, he had brushed his teeth, eaten his breakfast, combed his hair and got dressed so he was completely ready for school. To save being critisized in any way by Lily for being late, he decided to head off early, and when his mum asked where he was going he replied, 'Just going to school to finish off a project.' Martin was excited and anybody that had seen him would have known that immediately by his face expression. He opened his glowing yellow front door and walked out along his garden path surrounded by blossoming flowers. His garden was a lovely one, infact every garden in the village was a lovely one. He began to take a slow walk down to the treehouse. To get to the treehouse, all you had to do was walk a little way (about 1/2 a mile) and then turn left into a tiny little ally-way and that would lead you to it. As Martin had said, nobody knew about it so they could not invade, and just incase you were wondering, the land for it was bought from the council by Martin, so it was perfectly legal. As Martin took that final left down the ally-way, he could sense that somebody was around, somebody that wasn't Lily. He climbed up the 14 wooden steps and jumped into the building, Martin was right, there was somebody around who wasn't Lily, as the biggest snitch in the whole school, who Martin expected had listened to all of their plans, despite them whispering them, and wanted to tell on them (that's a habit he has). 'Hello Martin,' Barry the big snitch Mimitchi said, 'You might be wondering how I found this place and what I'm doing here, well let me explain.'
