For the travel agency you need to first buy a ticket from your shop, (they stock every once in a while so keep checking back) and then use it. Your screen will show a plane flying away, and then it will come back. You will then be given a password to collect your prize from the trip.
Go back to the travel agency and click on the computer image. You can enter your password there and collect your souvenir.
To visit your tamas parents, I'm not exactly sure, but I think you need to view them on your toy and then you get a password to visit them at tamatown.
