Alright, I am currently running a Tamagotchi v3 and a Tamagotchi Plus Color. The v3 isn't exactly important right now, as it isn't/can't experience the problem I'm having. But my Tamagotchi Plus color is an adult in the 4th generation and when I go to look at parents/history, it won't let me. Is there something wrong with it or am I just not far enough in the generations to see parents and history? :|

On the plus color, history won't apear unless a tamagotchi passes under your care. It's the same for v4-v5,I'm not sure about the v3. :)

Actually, for the V3 if you want to view the parents/grandparents, then you can click on parent under the book icon and it'll let you see it. :)

I understand the way it works for the v3, but mine is only in the first generation now. xD

But, what do you mean if a Tama passes under my care? If a Tama were to die, wouldn't I have to press the restart button, meaning that all my previous information would disappear?

If your Tamagotchi passes under your care (meaning that you neglected it to the point where it passes away), all you need to do is press A and C simultaneously and a new egg will appear. You won't lose your Gotchi Points or items, though you will start back at generation one. If you do a hard reset (pressing the reset button in the back of the unit and then when the download or reset options come up, you select reset; THAT will erase everything). When you go under the book icon after pressing A and C, the second option will be selectable (it will no longer be grayed out) and you'll be able to see the characters that passed under your care. Otherwise, there is no generation-by-generation history for the +C.

Ohhhh, I understand. Huh. That's a drag. I've had such cute Tama's in the past. ;O; Thank you for the information, though! It's much appreciated.
