Tamagotchis-bad characters

Do you have an old tamagotchi, like one you have had for a couple months or so? I have one that is about 8 months old, and one that is about 1 year old, and they are the same characters over and over again, and not very pretty ones. Help? Is this happening to anyone else? If so, reply. I should like to know. Any advice, anyone?

It happens to me too!! Either you take bad or good care of your tamas all the time - I take bad care.
