tamagotchi vanished?

Help! So today, I was going home from getting food. When i got home, I decided to watch some TV. Then i decided to go upstairs into my room. Before using my computer, I decided to use my Tamagotchi. (I had my Tamagotchi in its full stage and it was married and had a kid) But, the problem was: MY ADULT TAMAGOTCHIS WERE GONE! The only one left was the kid The kid was a girl, and didn't have any years of age. That's when I decided to restart my Tamagotchi. I couldn't easily find something that will fit into the tiny reset hole. It reset, made the entire egg and everything. But, I still had only the kid. Did my adult Tamagotchis die? I didn't see any Gravestones. The Tamagotchi keeps on making the beeping noise so many times while I am making this Post. I need help from an expert please! :'(

Once you marry off your first generation, the parents will stay with the child for a while and then leave. This is normal. The baby is now your second generation, which you marry off at a respectable age and so on.

You probably just missed the "leaving" animation and were left confused. When you reset it, all your data is gone and you start over.
