Tamagotchi V4.5 Log (& eventually V1, V2, +)

Yesterday was my 18th birthday.

With the money I received, I ended up buying myself a V4.5 Tamagotchi (I also have a V1 and a V2 that I need to buy batteries for and am watching a few different older versions on eBay to add to the collection).

I brought it home quickly and, while my fiance made my cake, I opened the package and glanced over the instructions--wow was there a lot of new features!

I pulled the tab out of my Tama and after a beep, there was my egg.

I continued to read the new parts in the instructions while waiting for my egg to hatch. Shortly, I was notified by sound and saw my egg moving. I watched as out came a small black dot, a Tsubuchi (male).

I went on to name him, Moko, and feed and play games with him to get his Hunger and Happy bars to the max. It wasn't long until he evolved in to a Tamatchi. I vigilantly watched over him the rest of the day, cleaning up his messes, playing games, visiting TamaTown, and feeding him until he went to be about 9:00PM (as my V1 and V2 used to do).

This morning I awoke to find him fairly content on the couch in the living room. I cleaned up the loan mess he left, made sure to raise his meters to the max again, and punched in various codes for different items (clone, honey, CD, playhouse, slide, etc.). I let him try out some items as well as sent him to work/school (which didn't last long the few times I tried). He visited TamaTown again a couple times and this afternoon he evolved again...

...This time into a Young Mametchi!

I've heard a lot of people asking how to get Young Mametchi and I wasn't particularly trying... All I did was never let the meters get below 3 hearts, I fed Sushi for his meals (primarily) and Oranges for snacks (primarily).

Right now, to me, he looks like a small squirrel bouncing around the screen, it's cute.

I just pressed the C button to see what new dance he does in this form and he got close the the screen and showed his teeth.

Oh, mail! My second fortune of the day. Today, both had three stars for love, but too bad my V1 and V2 are "dead" at the moment... The last I left them they were both oldtimers.

Now I'm off to see what else I can do for little Moko. Until next time..!

Moko Evolution

I have a hard time remembering the names sometimes.

Just a mini-update...

Moko moved up in school, now having the turtle-looking fellow as his teacher. This allowed me to visit TamaTown's school instead of the preschool/kindergarten.

I actually wasn't lazy this visit, too, and typed in the codes for the drill, treadmill, dumbbell, hammer, milk, and ladder. Haven't tried any of them out yet, though.

I caught Moko taking a bath when I returned from the other room (my fiance was supposed to be watching him for me). That's the first I've seen him do that, so it was sort of cute to look at.

Now it's time to go play with the clone again (see if they plan any different) and play some games!

Moko seemed to sleep in this morning... He didn't get up until about 8:30AM after going to sleep at 8:00PM. I made sure to feed him cereal to make up for his one lacking heart on the meter and I played a game with him (CLIM to make him happy. He still only has CLIMB and TUG-Of-WAR as his two games to play, but he seems to enjoy them anyway and never refuses to play.

Now he's tediously brushing his teeth on the screen. He's been at it a couple minutes now, but I don't want to push a button and stop him... I'm curious if he spits and rinses.

*Watches* .........

Okay, so I guess he's not that bright and will keep brushing 'til I tell him to stop. *Hits button*

Even though I wasn't trying for a urayoungmametchi and didn't really want one, he's sort of growing on me in this form. He still makes me think of a little squirrel, and I like squirrels.

I'm still hoping for him to become a uratogetchi, but am not sure how to get him there. I'll go look up the growth thread (where people are posting what they did and who they got). If I need to change his daily routine, now's the time as he'll probably evolve tomorrow afternoon again.

Now with the turtle as the teacher, I've been trying to get Moko to go to school to learn. But, every time I send him and press B to "supervise," I get the same "game" over and over. The turtle gets a block with a smiley face on it above his head, then it turns into a present. Then two other presents appear and switch around and I have to pick the one with the smiley face in it, otherwise it has poo in the box. I pick the smiley box every time (after the first couple, I didn't know what it was at first) and it's always in the same box... But nothing happens after that, he just comes back home pretty much.

Moko has gone to school a few times today, he's getting pretty smart! His personality/humor/intelligence skill is pretty high now.

We haven't been to TamaTown yet today, but will get there this afternoon I'm sure.

He managed to play with some blocks and a plant I bought today in the shop, although I'm not sure the benefit of doing so...

Today's sort of a slow day. I hope to get batteries tonight for my V1 and V2, that way Moko can have friends!

Oh, Moko turned 2!

He went to school a lot today, I got his intelligence/personality thing up to 96 (it won't go up any more, no matter how much he goes). The box with the smiley was in a different place a few times, but still mainly was in the far right for some reason. Either way, it's an easy game.

He treated himself to a bath this evening--he was in the tub for a looooong time, 'til I finally pushed a button and told him it was time to get out.

We still haven't been to TamaTown today, I don't know if we'll end up going or not.

Tomorrow evening when he turns 3, I think he may evolve. I hope so! I wonder who he'll be. I have a feeling he'll either be uramametchi or mametchi, but I still want uratogetchi! That reminds me, I still haven't checked that thread!

I'm still trying to talk my fiance into taking me on a battery run for the other two (I really want to get them going so they can "bond" with Moko), but so far... He refuses.

Hopefully by next week I'll be adding an Ocean, Morino, Uratama, and Akai to my collection. I was going to try for a Devil and Angel, too, as well as a Entama and Keitai, but decided against it... I don't like the Angel characters (other than the Cactus which is Japan-only, and the lucky Poo)... And the Devil is TOO pricey! Keitai seems about the same as the Akai, only the Akai has the spiffy red and I love red (and the chance to get a Strawberry character, my favourite fruit!)... And Uratama is the upgraded Entama, so hey!

ANYWAY... I think that's about it. Not much else is new with Moko or his growing "family."

It's 8:42AM and I'm still waiting for Moko to wake up. He sure does sleep a lot! I do think, though, he went to bed later last night.

Today is evolution day! Not until this evening, but still... It's exciting. Also, my fiance is running to get batteries for my V1 and V2 this morning (in about 15 minutes when he wakes up), so they can get on their way to growing and hopefully make nice with Moko. I'm not sure if I'll restore how they were before (they were both oldtimers) or start anew yet. Decisions decisions!

If I keep them as oldtimers and let Moko catch up, they can breed (as I think they're both female right now). But at the same time, I don't really want to get the secret oldtimer right now.

Can brothers and sisters breed? I would assume so, I doubt the Tama knows the difference. Just thinking, with my small group of only three, they may get to a point they have to... I hope I never end up with all one gender, that would suck.

I also wonder if Japanese Tamas and American ones can breed... In a couple days, I'll be buying an Uratama and an Akai (I'm so excited for them!) and I know they're similar to the American Connection ones, so... I guess we'll see.

C'mon, Moko! I keep glancing at him and, nothing...

NOOOOOOOO!

As promised, I went to the store this morning (it's a grocery store here in town) with my fiance... Sure enough, they have batteries, but NOT button batteries at all!

I handed the dead batteries to my fiance, who had to get me home so he could go to work, and told him I'd like him to bring home LIVE batteries when he's done with work (as he works in the town over, about 15 minutes away, and there's a Target).

So, it's just me and Moko still today. I checked the shop and managed to buy the RC UFO that people talk about so much. Hopefully he can play with it soon, he can't right now...

I assume he has to be 3 years and an adult for it, so hopefully this evening! Yesterday I managed to get some corn from the shop, which I thought was supposed to raise a skill (I forget which), but it didn't seem to. Ah well, it was probably still a nice change for Moko.

I went on eBay this morning (I really gotta stop) and am bidding on a V3 and a V4 now, too... Moko's going to have loads of friends by the time the V1 and V2 are up and running and then next week when/if I win the V3 and V4.

The V3 is yellow with stars on it and the V4 is different shades of pink, striped. Both are neat, I think.

The Morino I'm bidding on is brown, which seems to be fairly common, and the Ocean is blue, which also seems common.

The Akai I plan to...

IT'S A ROBBER!!!

He stole that last of my Gotchi Points (I only had about 685 left from buying the RC UFO).

ANYWAY....

The Akai I plan to buy is pearl white, I'm in love with it more than anything I think (I really want a Strawberry pet!) and the Uratama is Yellow with a green frog on it (he has a graduation hat on his head).

I'll get pictures soon... Poor Moko will be an oldtimer before I get a photograph up. *Rolls eyes* Maybe today I'll get ambitious.

Anyway, that's about it for now... Now to just pass the time until Moko can get his friends tonight. I think I am going to completely reset them and start fresh.

I sent Moko to school and now his intelligence skill is at 100, I think that's the highest. We went to Tamatown and got some points and items, including a soccer ball, makeup, RC helicopter, action figure (the free one from the slots if you line up the robots/figures), and a pencil. He can pretty much only use the soccer ball.

I can't wait for him to become an adult, I want him to use the other items!!

I discovered the racing game, in the toy store, in Tamatown... It's REALLY EASY and you get 300 gotchi points each time you win. I think there's a glitch because I have to exit the game and come back in to play again, but I did that and got a bunch of points to get these items.

I gotta find a mirror, I hear that's how you use the makeup...

I saw the stereo and piano in the music store... I didn't realize how pricey they are!! Hopefully I get new games soon so I can rack up enough GP to get them.

I also wonder where I get a record player, as I was told the CD is really a record or something... Hmm...

I guess that's all for now, Moko is bobbing around the screen. He's always so peppy.

He evolved into... Uramametchi. Well, I wasn't really trying to get him, but oh well. And yes, I know it's the Ura version because he has a tail.

I just pushed the C button to see his little dance, it's a bit cuter than the urayoungmametchi.

Moko isn't even 3 years old yet, he just got done playing with a chest from the shop, which made him so angry, so I gave him a variety of snacks (muffin, pear, pineapple, cone) to make him feel better, then he alerted me a moment later.

I'll have to see what items he can play with, although I still think he needs to be 3 to play with the phone.

BATTERIES!!!

I don't think my V1 and V2 can connect as babies, but when they evolve in an hour, then Moko can meet them. <_<

My V1 ended up being a female that I named Addie. The V2 ended up male and I missed the screen when he hatched (it was while I was naming Addie), so I named him Jamie because it goes for male or female.

Addie and Jamie have both eaten, played a game, had some snacks, used the potty (well, left it where they please for me to clean up), and were sick... Addie took 2 medicines even.

Now to wait for evolution so they can connect.

I added charms to them... Moko has a jingly Tare Panda, Addie has a Kiki kitty from Gaia Online, and Jamie has a Coco kitty from Gaia Online (but it's just the kitty and clip, the strap part is missing). I think I like them with danglies, so I'll have to get more for any new Tamas I get.

Wow... V1 and V2 seem harder to take care of than V4.5. They're more demanding early on and when I had two of them last night... Eek! They both turned into toddlers before going to sleep... Jamie is now a Hitodetchi (the star-looking, blob thing) and Addie is now what looks to be a larger Tsubutchi. She's just a bigger white ball.

I'm sure they'd have become more exciting characters with better care, but I try really hard NOT to pause them.

I don't think they can connect yet, being toddlers, so hopefully today when they grow up into teens they'll be able to.

And, maybe today I'll get ambitious and take photos.

Moko's shop had a fishing pole, I think, so I bought that. Now I'm low on points, but I'll get more in a little while. The games are easier on his Tama than the other two, I think.

OH OH OH OH OH! *Bounces around*

I was on eBay and I was going to get a pearl Akai and a sort of yellow Uratama, but I decided to not... And I found a Mothra! Now, I haven't really seen the movie, so I'm going to go find it and watch it, but I knew I wanted one (as it's supposedly like the Morino, only a bit easier to take care of). The characters look neat on it, too. It was only $30, which I think is cheap because I haven't seen any others for sale. So, I paid for it and it'll hopefully be here soon...

My friend has bought from this seller and says they ship really fast (and shipping is reasonable, which is good), so we'll see!

I know I can't name my Mothra, but I will probably call him something... I'll decide when I see him. Oi, I need to get me a new phone strap for him. Maybe I can find a nice little Anime-styled bug.

This is exciting!

Now to play games with Addie and Jamie--they're so needy!

I watched a little bit about Mothra. I think mine will be female and I'll name her Venus. It just seems right. ^_^

Jamie and Addie seem to be on the same schedule... Addie is about 30 seconds older, so she does an action (like just now she cried), then Jamie does it 30 seconds later. I hope as they turn into teens and adults their personalities begin to vary more.

Tonight around 8:00PM or so they should end up evolving into teens, which'll be good. I look forward to new games... I forget how to play the jump one for Jamie (the jump game for Addie is easier, it's just hurdles).

So far, my bids on the V3, V4, Morino, and Ocean are all winning... 2 days on the shortest auction, 4 on the longest. So, hopefully. The V3 I have a bid of $0.99, so if I get it for that, that'd be nice (shipping is almost $8, which I think is a lot, but oh well).

The family is growing rather quickly indeed! Maybe eventually I can get a Devil (and Angel, for collection's sake), there is an Angel for about $30 on eBay... And I can get a Uratama and Akai. But for now, I'll stick to these "rare" themed ones I can afford.

I found a "cheat" to get 9900 gotchi points... Using that special URL and using my password, etc., then it outputs the logout code. I've done it twice and it worked, on Moko, so now I have 20,000+ GP.

Oh, I just saw Moko trip! He must have bad fortune.

Addie and Jamie have been rolling around the screen a lot today. They must be bored, poor things! I wish they could go on Tamatown.

I looked on eBay for phone straps, I saw a cute butterfly that I thought would go well with my new Mothra on the way, but... I also found the San-X Relaxed Bear set of 6 phone straps (about $10 with shipping), so I think that'll cover the Mothra and other 4 Tamas I'm bidding on. I think I'll go that route then.

Getting gotchi points on the V1 and V2 seems really hard, honestly. I play bump with Jamie and jump with Addie and I only get maybe 200 GP each time. With Moko, his games give about 400 GP.

OH, mail! Oh good, a better fortune. 2 stars in everything, now Moko won't trip on anything.

I can't wait to connect Moko to Jamie and Addie... Tonight is taking forever...

Addie and Jamie went to bed, full hearts everywhere, without evolving. I hope they do in the morning then.

Moko, I think, said goodbye to his teacher. He got a letter and visited him, then they both were sad for a while together, then he came home.

I've played a few of the new games today, I see it raises different skills.

The King gave me a ticket today!! Tomorrow, Moko will visit Japan.

I guess that's about it for now.

Addie and Jamie evolved this morning! But then went back to sleep...

Addie is the strawberry, Ichigotchi, which I think means she was taken care of poorly? Not sure...

Jamie is a little floating alien-looking thing, but I can't find the name for it... Ah well.

Someone tried outbidding me on the Tamagotchi Ocean... Bastards... (Yeah, I said it... BASTARDS!) I ended up bidding more and my bid of $22-ish went to $38-ish. I have about $11 more dollars to play with until I can't bid any more, so they better not do it again... I really want the ocean.

All other bids are all right, hopefully it stays that way. Whoever reads this, wish me luck!

Someone PMed me saying they got a Mothra from the same person I am getting mine and their's didn't look new, so I have to really inspect mine when it arrives. It's supposedly sealed and never used, so it'd be easy to tell, I'd think, if it's been used.

Today Moko can connect to Addie and Jamie!... I think. They should be able to, if they ever wake up. *Rolls eyes*

I was reading about Mothra, the Tamagotchi... I think it's hilarious that you can only discipline it when it's eating the Tokyo Tower. I read that and cracked up. "Bad, Mothra! Baaaaad! Stop eating the Tokyo Tower!" I couldn't help myself. I told my fiance and he started to laugh and poke fun, too. I think I'll have a blast with that little thing. I'm going to try to give perfect care to get the Mothra on it instead of another character. Now that Jamie and Addie are teens, and Moko being an adult, I should have plenty of time for it.

Oh, and if I don't win the Ocean... Well, I think then I'll settle for an Angelgotchi. I see that the person I got the Mothra from has a couple. We'll see... I really want that Ocean!!

I promised stats today, I'll get them. Just waiting, still half-asleep.

I found out that the big blob I was thinking of it is Marutchi and the alien that Jamie turned into is UFOtchi.

Okay, thanks to someone's self-made character chart, this is what I know:

Well, not much info for Jamie... But, they refer to UFOtchi is a girl... Jamie's a boy. Weeeeeeird.
