So, i just got my tamagotchi v2 today from ebay...

and i put the batteries in, but the circut board was missing some screws.. so i replaced them with an old tamagotchi.

but when i put the batteries in, only half of the pixels come up... I neeed some help D; :(

So, thats how it looks with fresh batteries..

Hmm, why don't you try unscrewing the screws out, and pressing a couple of times on the circuit board? This sometimes forces all the circuits together, although don't push too hard, however, keep a nice, steady, gentle pressure. Good luck, alright?

Try opening it up carefully and using a Q-Tip to clean around everything.Make sure the screws are tight too. ;)

 
its most likely someone took it apart and didn't put it together correctly, he may have even peeled of the two little pink strips that connect the screen, if he did that your v2 is most likely dead.

my guess exactly, must of peeled the pink strips.

well, I took it apart and one of the pink strips were missing! so, my mom said to email them on ebay, and get a refund. so, im getting a refnd. XD

sorry about that, but i really cant stop laughing at the fact that one was missing. lol sorry

 
try not buying tamas from ebay next time if u are scared of scammers.most likely ebay's items r 2nd hand and u dont know what happened to them.but this is such an awkward for that ebay seller :angry: .
