Tamagotchi thing for computer?

Isn't there a tamagotchi thing for computer because my friend told me there might be something. Is there? If so please tell me what it does. ^_^

There was a Tamagotchi Desktop Character software package which could be downloaded for free, about a year ago from Bandai's site. It placed an animated Tamagotchi character on your desktop. There's a screen shot of it here: https://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g310/bin...opcharacter.png

There is currently a "PC Pack" available which includes a Tamagotchi Connection V4.5, mouse pad, Tamagotchi holder & microphone, and CD-ROM containing Tamagotchi-themed games to play on a Windows-based PC. There are some pictures of it here: https://tama-zone.com/index.php?showtopic=13501
