Tamagotchi Role Play

It bothers me a lot that when you search for "Today's Active Topics," here on TT, the top ones are almost always role play. It really bugs me. I don't participate in the role playing on this site. There are too many people in one topic so I can't keep up with all the characters. It really makes a bunch of mini stories. All the participants can't mesh together as one and... I don't know. Blah. Does the role playing here bother you?

I only participate in one of them... It was the one I participated in when I was active here a year or two ago... some of my friends are still there... other than that... they can get annoying...

Agreed. That's why I don't use roleplay. But if you think about it, the people who roleplay don't get posts counts every time they post something.

I really don't like roleplaying. At the start, I made about 10 roleplays, but I am over that. Yes, the majority of the members here spend most of their time in the Tamagotchi Roleplay Forum. Most members join to discuss tamagotchis, but end up roleplaying instead.

Yes, I think that forum should be deleted, but then we'd lose 1,000 members or so, because of the deletion.

It bugs us because the majority of the members roleplay, and TamaTalk was made mainly to discuss Tamagotchis.

Most RPs are anime, or school.

I don't like them or participate in them, but they don't bug me. Members obviously enjoy it, and it's great that they're having fun, so it shouldn't be deleted. TamaTalk, right now, is fine the way it is.

Well, that's a fine how-de-diddly-do. I think that it is good, as it lets you get away from all the questions, arguing and stuff about tamas, it just lets you relax.

Also, it's quite good for people who don't want to leave tamatalk-because of their friends ect.- but aren't into tamas, instead of lurking in the (Non)TamaTalk place...

Well, if you feel like it is all about Tamas, then why did Admin create the (NON) TamaTalk part?

Tamagotchi Rp is, almost, exactly the same as Non TamaTalk- non tamagotchi related.

Not exactly. It really depends on how you make the story.

Tamagotchi Seiro has began to enter his journey as he meets a bunch of people...

"Hello" said the mysterious marumimitchi , "I will be able to increase your power of speed so you'll be able to catch all the tamagotchi's in the world. Only if you do me a favor. You will provide me with 6 cupcakes a week."

And Tamagotchi Seiro said "Yes".

He was now able to continue his adventure(and you continue on from here)...

 

This is just an example. I would ask if nobody copies this story. Anyways, like I said, it really depends on how you make this story.

Some people that I met here on tamatalk(such as GotchiGirl96) who had over 1,000 posts and have a high status of karma , in fact, the hadn't even participated not once in the Tamagotchi Role Play and precisely everything they said was accurate. So it would probably bug people about that too. Who knows, maybe they're just obbsessed with tamagotchi's. But I'd be thinking the same thing. WOW

Anyways, I think it should stay. I never will go in there, yet it will attract more members ^_^

The only thing that bothers me about the RolePlay section is Art Theft. Otherwise, it's just a spot to express your freedom in another character, and have a little fun.

I agree 100% with RachelGotchi. For a lot of the anime roleplays, they make their characters with pictures created by other people, not them. They should at least give the creator credit, because I bet that the creator took loads of time to make the picture ^_^

I don't have a problem with the roleplay section. I just don't like roleplaying very much, and that's why I don't use it. I participated in one role play once, but I forgot about it and then when I went back I got completely lost.
