Tamagotchi P's Heart Caps

Hey guys!

Not sure where I should have posted this, but I thought I would give it a go here!

Right, I am currently working on making replacement caps for my Tamagotchi P's, I love the little heart, but for some reason I can't bring myself to buy the gashapon sets when I can make my own!

So my question to you is, what colour should I make my first cap, and, I can make it into different shapes, what should I make? I was going to go with a turtletchi for now as hes ma favourite ^__^

Hello all!

Thought I'd do a small update:

My first batch I made with rainbow was a complete disaster, didn't put enough resin in, and put too much colour in so it turned into a gelatinous blob. So I started again with Glow In The Dark glue stuff, I've worked with it in the past and it leaves the resin soft so it might fare better in the tama like the existing cap.









I took these pictures as soon as they came out the mould, hence them looking hella rough! Shall sand down tomorrow after work and should hopefully have a picture of the completed thing at the end of the week

Helllo! Day 2 update:

Haven't had a chance to sand edges of heart as I've been pigging out since getting home from work, soooo hungry! xD

But on the plus side, my Turtletchi came out fairly well. Slight air bubble on his foot, but its workable, will start on next cast tomorrow ^__^

I has no idea what that is im afraid! :/

I makes them out of resin, I use polymer clay to sculpt them (I know the irony, sculpting it then not using it xD) then mould 'em!

Oh my gosh! I've made a complete one!! xD

Pahah right, so, I've been making these lil guys for a while now, but have run into some problems along the way, seems like I have got it all working now, have got one out of its mould and it looks awesome!

(Unfortunately, my phone is being repaired so I have no means in taking a picture of the cap. I attempted a mint green with sparkle, as requested by someone).

Its a little more green than I was expecting, but I suppose that comes from mixing colours in the dark (Silly ISBIS *Slaps wrist*)

Shall hopefully have my phone back tomorrow so will upload pictures then!

So! I shall start asking for colour requests, and whether you'd like it glittery, glow in the dark or transparent colour, I can also try putting images in them aswell but not too sure how well they come out

Will venture on to try and make different shaped caps, I attempted Turtletchi, but it looks massive as a cap so will try and make flatter ones from now on xD

Picture =w= a chibized version of him is good too, but I asked for a P's crochet cover with a chibi Mario plushie once, but the person who I requested my cover said that she tried to make the plush, but told me it was too difficult.

Hellooo!

Sorry its been a while since I have posted on here!

Been experimenting with the caps, I have made a couple but unfortunately over time they have hardened off too much so now they wont fit in the hole.

SO! Back to the drawing board to figure out how to keep it soft!

But anywhoo, here are some pictures of the caps in action! xD












Please forgive rough edges, was waiting for them to harden off a little, but forgot about them xD

Plus the darker green had an air bubble in it so didn't bother to tart it up that much xD

SO!

Will post an update if I can figure out the magic formula to make these bad boys!
