Tamagotchi On - why is my adult tamagotchi still 0 years old?

Hello! So I've been messing with the clock on my tamagotchi on because I have to work all day and only have time to care for him at night, I usually regress many hours... and recently I noticed that he is an adult but he's still 0 years old, what do I do now? do I have to reset it? because I really wanted to have Kuromametchi

I think the age meter only increases when the clock hits 00:00 AM and rolls over into a new day. You can probably just marry him off without any consequences.
