Tamagotchi on and m!x

I recently bought a m!x and was hoping to connect it to my tamagotchi on but I couldn't figure it out. I know it can connect with the tamagotchi meets. Anyone know how to help?

No unfortunately, someone on this forum confirmed that they tried it but it didn’t work.
