Tamagotchi Meets/ON download?

I tried looking it up, but only got results for download stations. Anyway, I’m wondering if the ON has a download function, similar to the Connections where you can download your data after replacing the batteries. Since it’s the same as the Meets, you can just answer for that device since the ON isn’t released yet. 

...Or does replacing the batteries automatically download the data? Does pushing the reset button wipe all data without an option to download?

Nope, if you hit reset or the batteries run out it will give you the option to continue or reset
