Tamagotchi m!x 20th anniversary CD

Hi everyone! I just started up my new 20th anniversary m!x today. It came with a CD, but I have no idea what this does or how to play it. Has anyone else tried one of these before and do they work on US operating systems? I do have an old Sony VAIO I run Japanese XP on if I need to do that.

This is what the casing looks like. I'm definitely curious to see what this does.
