hi all! my Tamagotchi Friends is an Amethyst Gem, which i learned a couple years ago is meant to be Europe-exclusive. i've got no clue how Mom got her hands on one, but it was likely from eBay or something. it's raised a few concerns because of a plan i got into my head the other day
first off, are there any actual differences between europe and usa shells aside from how they look? anything from translation issues or different characters to one pixel being a little off counts
second -- and this one is a bit out there -- is it possible for a europe shell and usa shell to still use the bump feature? i'm probably like, the one tamagotchi friends owner within a 75 mile radius, but i've been thinking of getting one for a boy i like. are there some kind of unreasonable region locks or something?
if there are region locks (or if the price on a resold friends is too irrational) i'll probably just wait until the Uni's out next month (super hyped for that, btw! just from what i've heard it's gonna be fantastic)
