Tamagotchi Friends, No matchmaker?

I have a Tamagotchi friends, and She's 8 but if I remember correctly the matchmaker came at like Six of something? What gives? I'm confused, is there even a matchmaker for friends?

Oh thank you! I guess, I'm just used to like the V4 and the matchmaker showing up and giving me a mate, it's my first tamagotchi in 8 years
