Tamagotchi friends and tamagotchi 4U+

Hi, i saw you said that a tamagotchi friends can only connect to an other tamagotchi friends..

But as they both work with NFC connections, Do you think it could be possible to connect a friend with a 4U+ ??

I'm afraid that's not the case. Not all the tamagotchi versions using infrared communication are compatible with each other either.
