Tamagotchi Connection Version 1 help

I just rediscovered my Tama and I was wondering how long it takes to go from one stage of life to another. Also, if I don't connect to any other Tamagotchis will the matchmaker still come?

It depends which version you have.

Different versions have different evolution patterns.

The matchmaker usually comes to all the IR connection versions - even if they don't connect with other tamas (that's the point - to get you a partner if you are not able to connect with others).

Matchmaking works a little differently on the V5 and later version - otherwise (for the earlier ones V1 > V4.5) the Matchmaker will visit.
