anyone know approx. how long the battery lasts? i've read some reviews that say it's short, and others say it lasts long

it depends how u use your tama...if u pause it alot i think it lasts a little longer

also when ur tama goes to sleep and u turn off the light..that helps to use up more battery because of the amount of pixels on the screen...hope i helped a bit

hm...well, i never really pause and i always turn off the lights...has anyone had to change their battery already? how long did the battery last?

i do so to..i learnt that a few days ago..i had to change my batteries many times...the longest they stayed for me was 2 and 1 half months

ohh..do you know if there are such things as rechargable batteries (the type for the tamagotchi)? that'd be a big help

I've just bought a pack of batteries off of 'flea-bay', just in case. I've seen on here people saying they don't last long.

My friends tama was bought just before mine, her battery is already dead. Mine, seem to be going strong still. Although I do pause it often, when I am in a meeting at work, or I am driving and I know I won't have time to check on it.

And I don't have sound on, unless I have a baby, cause they need a lot of attention and I can't always be checking the screen in case!

Always good just to have a spare battery or two around, just in case. After all, you don't know how long that tama has been sitting around on a warehouse shelf, then shop shelf for. Batteries run down even if not being used.

Na, unfortunately there isn't a thing as rechargable lithium coin batteries. If you are an ebayer, you can pick up packs of them reeeeally cheap. I just got a pack of 5 for £2 with postage. ;) (Approx $4)
