Oh, yeah, hahaha. That's what I was talking about when I said that my collection is modest compared to some others here on TamaTalk. Sure, maybe the true value of her collection is worth around that much, but maybe she got great deals for her stuff. I know I did.

That IS quite a lot! I probably will never go that far. One of each kind is more than enough for me. Unless I'm super-rich someday and decide to get one of every design or something. I'm more of a vintage collector though and I'm still not even sure if I'm gonna get any of the Connections, especially since I've got a TMGC+C on the way. I mean, why go back to black and white for the Connections when you've got it in color? Still though, they'd be fun to collect anyway. Maybe someday.

That would be pretty crazy. Although, I never thought I'd have a Tamagotchi collection this big, so who knows what'll happen, right? By the way, how do you choose which Tamagotchis you purchase? Is there a method? I usually read up on it a lot first to know more about it and then pick either the design I like best or anything that has blue in it.

Jason is pretty reliable and has a lot of the vintage Tamagotchis (thank goodness for him having Santagotchis), but most of the time, I can find better deals. He's got Tamagotchi Angels on there for hundreds of dollars and I've seen ones that go for $50 or so. Once, I bought a Morino from him for $57 (yeesh ) and there are ones in the 30s or 40s out there. I'd shop around whenever I can. Make sure you save your searches so that you're not constantly logging on to Ebay. Saves me a whole lot of time. Looking under different names also helps cover your bases (Tamagotchi Ocean/Oceangotch/Oceangotchi/Umino Tamagotchi/Umi-No/you get the picture. )

I heard Dinkie Dinos are pretty awesome too...if you get the genuine ones (make sure it doesn't say 12-in-1 on the packaging or something like that). I didn't get a chance to play with mine before it stopped working. Oh well, might get a new one someday.

Purple is a very nice color. There's a really pretty purple design for a Japanese Umino, but they're pretty hard to find these days.

I know! I was ripped off. They do go for lower these days though. Oh well. I will get a new Dinkie Dino soon! Yeah, just be sure to look carefully at the pictures of the packaging before buying.
