Tamagotchi Channel Updated its Character Page

So well, not that it truly means anything, but the tamagotchi channel site was updated with a new character page!

Some things to note:

-No Dream Town Characters
-Despite this, ID L and P's characters are still there
-All the characters are drawn in the blue line art style
-Anime characters are still here, albeit in blue line style

I wouldn't be surprised. It is Tamagotchi's 20th anniversary year after all.

New tama hinted? I would love to imagine some of the old characters returning as DLC for the 4U or a new version in general. But it's nice to see a character page!

TBH it's not returning older characters like Chantotchi and Tosakatchi and stuff. It just removed all the Dream Town characters for some reason.

The reason it changed was because the anime ended, not to hint a new Tamagotchi.

You guys haven't heard about a new Tamagotchi trademark being registered yet? The new release is gonna be called Tamagotchi M!X, and the graphic is black and white, so back to basics for 20th anniversary wouldn't surprise me at all.

Someone recently posted about this either as a status update or in another thread. If I had to make a guess, Tamagotchi M!X is going to be an international release. They'll probably market the 20th anniversary *a lot* for this line. I'm really hoping that some of the original Tamas appear in it! I'm already excited because I saw Oyajitchi on the character page. ^_^

Oh this sounds neat! I'm honestly fine with any new tamagotchis, colour or not doesn't matter to me.

Yeah I know about the trademark but the character page was not changed for that reason. I didn't say there wasn't going to be a new Tamagotchi, I was just stating the change was made not because of a new Tamagotchi but because the anime ended. Besides, the character page was changed a while back probably before they even thought of Tamagotchi MIX. In fact, I already made a topic for Tamagotchi MIX but mods haven't approved it yet. Oyajitchi's been on the character page for ages... the character page is for the Tamagotchi TV Youtube channel.
