I've just gotten back into the tamas after a few years, and I've activated a v4, my old favorite.

I know that v4 characters mostly depend on skill points, especially starting in the teen years. But what about from baby to child and child to teen? Are these determined by care? And if so, what is the BEST CARE?

This applies even more to v2s and v3s and I'm curious - is the best weight their absolute minimum weight or a couple above?

Does it matter if you fill happiness hearts with snacks rather than by winning games (if you keep weight reasonable eventually?)

Any other ideas of what "good care" entails?

I can't be 100% sure, but I have a feeling that a lot of your questions would be answered by visiting our Tips & Tricks forum - specifically a trawl through the V4 Useful Topics Index: https://www.tamatalk.com/IB/topic/103277-v4-useful-topics-index/which gives lots of info on how to get special characters during evolution, which teachers to choose, which games favour which skill points, etc.

I encourage you to take a bit of time to look through the various topics.

I think the V4 is probably my favorite tama so far as it always seems to strike the right balance between game play leading to known outcomes.

Lots of members did lots of research and posted "How to:" facts and info about the V4.
