Tamagotchi bathroom

Does anyone know how long it takes a tamagotchi to poop after eating?
I’m playing with my Tama ON, and I want to be able to get him to the bathroom before he goes on the floor, but I always miss it.

There’s no certain time it just happens when you overfeed your tamagotchi I guess.

I usually catch it by concedes, when you see your tamagotchi looks disturbed and there are swirly lines next to it that’s when you take it to the bathroom.
