Tamagotchi 4U and 4U+ have different gender babies?

I mated my 4U with my 4U+ and got a boy on the 4U and a girl on the 4U+, same as the parents. Is this normal?

I don't actually have the 4U or the 4U + but I'm sure it's completely normal! It happens just as much as them both having same-sex children on other devices

Yup, is normal. It also happens when you marry and 4u character with another 4u character. I guess it can happen in all color tamas lololol
