Tamagotchi 4.5 wont connect to tama town

I just got my tamagotchi 4.5 and it wont let me connect to tamatown. I reset my name and everything, it just pops up with a small window saying disconnect..... help :'(

Sometimes the American one has connection problems, so yes, you need to use the European one.
