You asked how to train a Tamagotchi, but did not tell us which model you are using even though there are more than 40 different types. Nobody can answer your question without that information.

I assume you have Tamagotchi Connection V1 based on another topic you made.How do you train your Tamagotchi?
You can raise the training meter by going to the sixth icon (Training) either:
Time out: when it calls for you and you see all hungry and happy hearts are full OR refuses to send presents if you have another device.
Praise: when it’s crying.
