1. how come on the stats screen of the English Idl, there's no name for the Tama character? But there's a name for it in the Japanese version.

2. My Lovelitchi had already gained her 4th happy symbol, but the Tama Snack is inactive. How to activate it?

Hi it is me again. Now this time I am pretty sure my answer is correct (sorry about last time lol).

Anyway, the reason why it does not say the name of your tamagotchi character is because...it just doesn't. it is not a glitch. Bandai just made the english version like that. I guess they couldn't convert a name like "Lovelitchi" from Japanese to English!

And the answer to your second question? Well, "Tama Snacks" has nothing to do with the happy symbols. To access Tama Snack, you must raise at least 2 tamagotchi characters, because tama snack is basically your current tamagotchi character eating with another character you raised previously.

Yeah I understood how the Tama Meal works. They visit & eat meal with previous generation. But how do you raise 2 characters at the same time for the Tama Snack? Do you obtain it by connecting or downloading? Cause parent leaves right after baby is born.

i think they meant that you have raise at least one female character with all tamatomo stamps. eg. my adult character is lovelitchi and she has all 4 stamps. i marry her off and next gen's adult should be able to visit her through the snack option.

Oi! Yes that is right. Jirachi-Potato is right. Since you already know how Tama Meal works, then Tama Snacks works exactly the same way.

I just had a Lovelitchi in the previous 4th gen. Right now I have another Lovelitchi again in the 5th generation. Repeat. It has already reached 4th happy symbol. How much longer do I have to wait for it to unlock 1st location?

Not all tamagotchis have a Henshin Jo transformation, and I might be wrong, but I think Peintotchi is one of them.

What's the diff b/n Tama Marche and Flea Market? I tried Marche and sell some of my toys I got from Tools seed, but it wouldn't work. There was no one there at the park. I kept setting the time to 7:15, 8:30, 8:42, etc. But no one was there at park. Why?

But when I set the time for Flea Market, it worked. I sold the stuff.

And also, how long does it take for the Retro seed to be born after it's planted?

does IDL have a pause feature? A & B?

The iD L does not have a native pause function - although yes the A+B trick does the work. Press both buttons while in the clock screen.

It is however more advisable to take the batteries out if you intend not to play with it for a prolonged period of time to save batteries. After all, the iD L saves data and you can easily pick up where you left off.

I have an English idl. Giragiratchi glitch. Ikura don. So do I have to skip this Tamatomo cause I don't know how to download? No Irda adapter. I have a Windows 8 laptop by the way.

It's quite an inconvenience - yes, you'll need to skip it.
