Tama 4U/4U+ Arcade Games?

I just bought a 4U and 4U+, I only have the 4U+ turned on so far and I cant figure out the arcade games. Can anyone explain what I am trying to do in it?

Oo! I saw a video about these once! Okay, so the bamboo, you randomly select any bamboo stalk by scrolling with button A. Select the stalk you want to cut with button B. They guy to the right will cut it, and random stuff happens. But if you cut the stalk with they animal in it, you lose.

The second game, you try to imitate the ingredients for the recipe. So let's say two bottles appear on the right side. and then, three cakes appear on the left side. To win, you press button B two times, and then press button A three times.
