"Let's head home!" said Samantha. "Right!" Hailey said, picking up her sweater which she had left on a chair. They exited through the doorway. Hailey looked at Samantha. "We really should go to more parties!" she said. "Everything was great...except for when those two appeared." Samantha replied. Hailey nodded. They headed their own seperate ways.
The next morning, Hailey woke up and got ready for school. She grabbed a piece of toast and ran off to school. She turned around a building and ran into a girl. They both fell over. "I am so sorry!" Hailey said. "It's okay!" said the girl. "Hey! Do you go to Carlson junior high school?"she asked. "Yeah!" Hailey replied. "I'm new! Can you help me find my way around the school?" the girl asked. Hailey nodded.
The two of them were walking to school together. They were talking and Hailey remembered something. "I'm sorry! I forgot to introduce myself!" she said. "Hailey Fields!" she said, holding out her hand. "Juliana Jones!" said the girl, shaking hands with Hailey. Juliana was Hailey's size, but with long black hair and sea green eyes.
When they reached the school, they met up with Samantha. "Samantha! This is Juliana! She's new at school!" said Hailey. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Samantha!" said Juliana. "So, Hailey, do you guys have any singing groups after school?" Hailey scratched her head. "I don't think so! Why?" asked Hailey. "I love singing and music!" answered Juliana. "It's always been my dream to have a radio station with my friends!"
Hailey thought about what Juliana had said. "That is an awesome idea!" she cried out. "We could start our own radio station. But what would we call it? And who would we be?" she asked. "What do you mean?" Samantha asked. "Well, I always thought it would be cool to have our own DJ names like "Rockin Road" and so on." replied Hailey. Juliana nodded. They all ran to their first class before they were late.
After school, Samantha invited Hailey and Juliana over to her house. Hailey agreed but Juliana said she would have to decline. "Why can't you come?" Hailey asked. "I have guitar lessons, but I could walk with you guys!" replied Juliana. All three of them walked over to Samantha's house. They saw Emerald and Kiko sitting on the windowsill. "Ok, Juliana! Gotta go see why my cat is in Samantha's house!" Hailey said. "Bye!" Juliana yelled, walking away.
"Who was that?"Kiko asked. "New friend!" Hailey answered. "She looks like the third member of your group!" Emerald said...
