strange item on tamagotchi id screen?

just received my tamagotchi id today, and when i started it up not only did the egg appear, but also a small item to the left of it. i thought maybe it would go away or eventually i would click something that would help me figure out what it was.. but after many hours it is still there. it looks a bit like a brown crate with a white swirl on the top of it...

 

hope this description isn't too vague or unclear.. hope someone can help me

I can confirm this as well. I have the same exact decoration on my TMGC+C. It's nothing to worry about. The newer Connections and Japanese color Tamagotchis have neat animations for holidays like Halloween, Christmas, and New Year's, which disappear after a period of time. Welcome, by the way!
