Souvenirs Randomly missing

Is it normal? I never really noticed before because I never had all the souvenirs before. I had 1-32 on the first gen, its baby now is missing 2 3 7 9 18 19 20 21 Weird huh .... i though maybe because it never travelled but then it cant be ... because the surfboard is still there ....

And does this happen on V.4's aswell, because I see no point to the souvenirs its not like anything special happens when you have them all. I figure maybe i wont collect them then ... if their just gonna disapeer i mean

and is the cellphone only a souvenir if you have parents/grandparents?

When your adult V3 Tamagotchi character returns to Tamagotchi Planet, leaving her/his baby in your care, s/he takes some of the souvenirs with her/him. S/he takes the two keys from the Town Hall, the medal from the School, the cell phone from the Parent, the BMX bike from the GrandParent, and all of the items s/he won in the Arcade games: skateboard, balloon, baseball cap, and teddy bear. I guess that's all s/he can fit in her/his suitcase.

The adult V4 Tamagotchi parent takes many more of the souvenirs with her. The child gets to keep only: the five travel souvenirs, the three royal present souvenirs, and the two movie posters.

The cell phone is an item, not a souvenir. You get the cell phone after entering all 5 V4 shop codes.
