someone, please help me

just recently, i bought 2 v3 tamagootchis. i bought them a few days apart from each other. i have tried and tried to connect them, but it won't work! i always select "ver. 3" when it comes up, on both of them, but it never works! someone, please help me, if wou can.

Hm.. Try to reset or download your tamagotchi. When the STAND BY thing appears press the B.

One of the tamagotchi might be fake. to check if one is not fake, try to find:

three buttons on the bottom,

a Bandai logo on the back and/or on the box somewhere

spelled tamagotchi, not tamogotchi,

and, fake tamagotchis cannot connect with real tamagotchis.

Hm.. Try to reset or download your tamagotchi. When the STAND BY thing appears press the B.

Yeah make sure you are pressing B on one of them when they say "stand by".

Also, it seems that tamagotchi cannot connect in bright sunlight, so make sure you're not in a very bright place when you're trying. ^_^

Are you lining the red parts on the top up?

Make sure you line the infra-red sensors correctly. Press the 'B' button (middle button) to connect, or else the connection screen will just sit there, not trying to connect.

If you do those two steps correctly, and the connection still doesn't work, get a pencil and poke it in the 'RESET' hole on the back of your tamagotchi. Download both tamagotchis and attempt to connect again. It should work.
