so i'm getting a tamagotchi connection v3 from ebay and i some questions

all the ones on ebay are in japanese and i have some questions

1: can i name my tama with english characters

2: will i be able to know what some things are example matchmaker,feeding

3: is this a good version?

1. I'm pretty sure the Japanese V3 only has Japanese characters but I could be wrong.

2. You should be able to tell if you have played a Connection Tamagotchi before, if not, there's many guides floating around here.

The v3 is by far my favourite Tamagotchi. I'm running my v3 along with a 4U, and the comparisons are striking, yet I am enjoying both Tamas very much. I know nothing about Japanese Tamagotchi Connections, however, so I can't help you there.
