Hello all who are looking for tips on sneaking Tamas into school! Here you will find tips, a routine that won't make people suspicious, and things to say if someone asks you awkward questions like "why were you in the loo so long making no noise?" or "why do you keep peering into that pencil case and hiding the things in there from us?". Especially, I will focus on making sure you don't overdo the sneaky stuff and are aware of all the dangers for Tamas at school.

PART 1: SIMPLE TIPS

1. Turn the sound off and keep it off at all times.

2. Put some cotton wool in your pocket or purse where you are carrying your Tamas to stop the keychain jingling.

3. Don't sneak babies in!

4. Don't play with them in class if there are less than 50 children and/or a strict, observant teacher.

5. At morning tea and lunch, careful no-one sits on whatever you are carrying your Tamas in!

6. Only open the thing you are carrying your Tamas in when you are locked in the toilets.

7. Only take care of your Tamas while locked in a toilet cubicle.

8. Don't take too long and make sure you aren't totally silent to avoid people getting suspicious.

9. Be aware of all the dangers!

10. Don't carry Tamas in a non-zipping pocket.

PART 2A: HOW TO STOP PEOPLE GETTING SUSPICIOUS

To stop people asking awkward questions, act very casual about just sauntering off to the loo, locking the door and flushing after less than a minute and walking out to wash your hands. Don't act as if your Tama-carrying tool is fragile and precious, just act like it's a normal coat/purse/bag etc. Don't check your Tama more than 3 times per day. Don't stay locked in the toilets too long, or people will definitely ask questions. Make sure that your Tama keychain doesn't jingle and that there isn't too much of a visible bulge in your pocket. Don't wear your coat outside if it a hot summer's day just so you have your Tama on you, in your pocket. Rainy breaktimes are really difficult, because you can't wear a coat when you go to the toilets (if your Tamas are in your coat pocket). On these days, if the forecast is for rain, wear a short-sleeved T-shirt to school to you have an excuse to wear a coat.

Just avoid over-checking your Tamas, spending too long in the loo or acting suspiciously and you'll be fine!

PART 2B: HOW TO RESPOND TO AWKWARD QUESTIONS

If your mask slips and you act suspiciously by accident, you might be asked questions by either teachers or classmates. Here is a list of questions and potential answers:

Q: Why did you spend so long in the loo?

A: I was having trouble unlocking the door. (Don't use that one if the lock's not stiff!)

Or: *shrug* None of your business. (Don't use that one on a friend!)

Q: What ARE you doing with your pencil case?

A: It needs tidying. All my pens have no lids and one of the bullies filled it with tissue paper!

Or: Just trying to get my *insert colour/type* pen. It's so hard to find anything in there!

Q: What's in your purse/pocket?

A: Just snack wrappers and all sort of trinkets.

Or: I keep some of my stationery in there.

Q: Why do you keep going to the toilet?

A: I dunno.

Or: I'm not actually using the loo, I'm just washing my hands because of *insert thing you've been doing here*

Q: Are you hiding something from me?

A: Nope. Why did you think I was? *casual expression on face*

PART 3: SCHOOL ROUTINE

Please note that this is a routine for if you are carrying your Tamas in your coat pocket in Autumn/Winter.

Arrival at school: Go to the toilets with your coat on for an early-morning Tama check.

Morning tea: Put on your coat. Go outside for a bit. Then come inside, go to the toilets, do your Tama check and hang your coat up.

Lunch break: Put on your coat. Eat lunch. After lunch, go to the toilets with your coat on and tend to your Tamas.

End of School: At the end of school, your Tama's won't need checking until you get home. In the event of an after school club, I'd pause them.

Good luck sneaking your Tamas into school and remember the Top Three Tips: Turn the sound off, don't play with it in class and avoid suspicious behaviour!

I'm glad I helped! It's just from my experience, things I did wrong that made me get caught and things I did correctly that stopped people getting suspicious. I hope it works with you too!
