Skill Points on the 4u

Hi! I am just really confused about this whole skill points thing (on the 4u)... I was looking over the growth charts Tama_Star_Girl made, and it said that skill points are obtained by using certain items, clothing, accessories, etc... and that's what I've been doing, so maybe I'm just doing it wrong somehow xD

The reason I'm confused, though, is because once, I wanted to get a Tama other than Spaceytchi. So I played with the soccer ball a lot and all that jazz, and I still ended up with Spaceytchi. I also gave him good care! ;-;

Any help will be appreciated!

I posted 2 links above, one is the 4U growth chart, and the other is on the skill points.

You need to follow the chart to get the character you want. E.g. To get Mametchi, you have to get 10 Invention skill points and allow only 0 to 4 miss cares. I got Mametchi when I played the Experiment Kit (the one that look like a beaker of sorts) and gave him perfect care. Try it out, you should be able to get it
