Well, BanDai said the TMGC Color and TMGC+C cannot be released in North America. Maybe they should make a another Tamagotchi toy, but not now.

I voted "maybe." I love Tamagotchis and I love collecting them but I'm not crazy about the modern ones. This is probably as a result of growing up with the ancestor Tamagotchis and being used to what they have (that the modern ones don't have) to offer: simplicity. If Bandai does make a new Tamagotchi, I personally would want it to be the small, egg shape that we all know and love for one thing, not some big clunker that won't even fit in our pockets. Not that this is going to happen, but I wish that Bandai would re-release some of the ancestor Tamagotchis.

As OldSchoolTama said i would looooooove it if the did re-releases of the ancestor Tamas. I'm sure there wouldn't be a problem with them selling as alot of people (including myself) would be willing to pay out the money just to bring back some fond memories. But as long as they are still willing to bring out new Tamas, i will keep adding them to my collection.

I'm thinking though, would this new Tama-Go be called the V7, or just the TMGO?

If it would be called to V7, and BanDai keeps on making tamagotchis, would it keep going, for example V11, V12, V4567 (I'm exaggerating there a bit XD)

First off, Happy Birthday, TamaTalk!! I said Maybe. I believe BanDai is going to have to get really more creative, since they refuse to release Color tams over here in the States and other parts of the world. I know the market in the States isn't as big as the Japanese market, but I do believe a Color tam in English language would probably sell fairly well. But, the market in the States from what I've seen, isn't doing so well right now.

The TamaTown Tama-Go isn't a version of Tamagotchi Connection. It's part of a new brand altogether (TamaTown by Tamagotchi) and thus will be nicknamed TMGO rather than V7.

Anyway, I don't care what it is, but I would really like Bandai to release more Tamas after the TMGO. And they might, as a continuation of TamaTown.

Maybe they're trying to see a way to release a Color-series Tama in the US or internationally. For instance, the figures could be used to subsidize the Tama a bit, allowing them to sell it at a slight loss and hopefully still make profit in the long run. Also, like one user (I don't know if it was here, Tama-Zone, or what) said, they may be easing us into the idea of paying more for our Tamas or something.

Also, what if they change their minds or release a different Color-Series Tama later on? And you shouldn't take Bandai US's word as law when it comes to things such as this when you email them (I know that sentence sounded confusing, so I'm sorry)

No offense, but you essentially listed the TMGC+C twice (TMGC+C and TMGC Color); did you mean to say the iD and the +C?
