Chapter 1: Goodbyes
It was Shaina's last day in Michel Spear middle school,she was switching to a new school since her school was really bad.In her school you had to buy the school's gross lunch,wear ugly uniforms and learn at least one language or you won't go to high school.
Shaina sat in boring English class playing with her happy tama under her desk.Joy (Shaina's tama) was really happy that Shaina played with her most of the day.Joy wondered if Shaina learned in school because she knew that humans went to school most of the day.In Joy's world you can go to school whenever you want,in Shaina's world you had to go every day.
The bell suddenly rang,Shaina stopped playing with Joy and put her in her pocket,got her books and went to lockers.At the lockers Shaina said to her best friend Ella "Hey you wanna connect our tamas?We'll do it again when Ms.Nittia leaves the class." Ms.Nittia was a strict teacher and left the class often,so when she left the two girls connected tamas.But in Ms.Tucker's class they did it right in front of her.Ms.Tucker spent the whole period yelling at the class but nobody was afraid of her so they did whatever they wanted to do.Joy bounced around her screen and wondered what would happen in Ms.Tucker's class today.Something crazy always happened in her class and Joy always saw it.The bell rang again.The girls went to class.
It was time to leave school.Shaina's friends hugged her and said goodbye.Joy and Gina (Ella's tama) had one last connection.Gina was sad to see Joy go and Shaina's friends were sad to see Shaina go.Shaina got on the the bus thinking about her friends and her new school.She got home and got her clothes for her first day at her new school.She called her friends and talked till she was to tired to talk anymore.She went to bed but wasn't able to sleep.
