Kimi handed her locket to her brother. "I...I want y-you to have this.....remember me?" Kiro looked at her and nodded. Kimi followed her father out of Kiro's apartment, crying.
The alarm clock rang. Kimi awoke and saw the time. "UWAH?!!" she shrieked "I'm late! I'm late! WHY DIDN'T ANYONE WAKE ME UP?!!!!!?!" Kimi's father looked at her. "Don't worry, just calm down and eat!" Kimi shoved a piece of toast into her mouth and ran out the door with her backpack.
"KIRO! WAKE UP! YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE!" Kiro's mother shouted. He woke up, still half asleep and tried to walk down the stairs. He tumbled down and landed face first. Kiro didn't like eating breakfast, so he grabbed his bag and walked to school. On the way, he bumped into a girl. "UWAAAAH!" Kimi (Kiro crashed into her) yelled, "I am SO sorry!" Kiro shook his head. "N-No it was my fault! I wasn't paying attention!" he said, picking up Kimi's books. She smiled. "W-wanna walk to school together? I'm new and don't know where the classes are yet!" Kiro nodded and they walked to school together. "All right? Who are you and what do you want with OUR Kiro?" a girl asked Kimi, fiercly. "I-I'm sorry! I just met him! W-we walked to-to school together!" Kimi said, frightened yet weirded out. "WELL! Don't do it again because WE are the ones who truly need to date him first! I am Kiko Shibi! Leader of the fan club!" Kiko said, growling. The other two girls looked at Kimi. "I-I'm Kiki Shibi! I just follow Kiko because there's nowhere else to go!" Kiki said shyly. The other girl stopped talking on her cellphone for a second and looked at Kimi. "Yeah..like I am Naomi Takie!" Naomi said, looking at her nails. "Well.....uhhh....see you soon! By the way, my name's Kimi Kuragi!" Kimi said, running off. The girls had shocked looks on their faces. "K-K-Kurag-i?" Kiko asked. "But that's...Kiro's..last.... name......" The other two girls looked as if they had nothing else to say. The bell rang and Kimi put her books into her locker and saw Kiro standing there. "You wanna walk to the soda shop or something?" Kiro asked "There's no one else I could ask!" Kimi giggled. "What about your fans?" she asked with a smirk. "They're too hyped up about me!" he laughed. They stopped at the soda shop. They drank sodas and talked. The fan club had a table right behind them. Kimi saw Kiro was wearing a locket. "A lock..et? Most boys are too boyish to wear lockets!" Kiro smiled. "Someone gave this to..to me! I treasure it always!" Kimi tried to open it. "I..I gave a locket...to someone....when...when our parents didn't allow us to see each other anymore!" Kimi opened the locket. "Hey! I got it!" she smiled. Kiro looked at her, amused. "Ten years went by and I couldn't open it.! I really am weak!" he laughed. But he looked at Kimi, who wasn't laughing. "K-Kimi? What's wr-wrong?" he asked. He took the locket from Kimi, who was pale and stunned. He looked inside. It was a picture of Kiro and Kimi building a snowman in kindegarten. "K-Kimi? Is this y-you?" he asked. Kimi looked up again and shrugged. "WAIT!" she cried out, remembering something. "It's coming.....back...to me!" Kiro nodded. "S..same!" Kimi remembered playing every day with Kiro and then, remembered as her father took her away from her brother. "Kiro-chan! I knew there was something strange about you!" Kimi said. "STRANGE? KIRO IS NOT STRANGE!" the fan club cried out. She looked at them. They slid back into their seats. Kimi and Kiro looked angry. "I'm calling my dad!" Kimi said, pounding the table as she starting remembering Kiro. "Yeah! And I'll call mom!" he said. Pounding his glass on the table. "We want answers and we want them now!" they said together.
