ROYAL COSTUME

I've got the royal costume and ater wearing it was given a password for ??. Where on earth do I enter this password? It's comes up as error on the tamagotchi, I've tried visiting the king again and he's having none of it either! Totally mystified! Can anyone help please?

It's a password for the Nintendo DS Tamagotchi game. You get a sofa . Useless for the actual Tamagotchi.
