If you try to pick up your prize(Or seeing what happens) it says this, 'When you win the award, you can get the award and Gotchi points your received here. You have to come and get them within a week. So don't forget to receive your awards. Right now there is nothing to give you. Good luck with your next competition." It says you can pick up your award and Gotchi points within a week. Hope I helped!

Here's an example: Say it's Friday, but you forgot about it that day, but TamaTown gives you one week to get your prize. You have until next Friday.

EDIT: You CAN get your award on Friday.

In other words, the award only lasts for a week, if you forgot or don't have time to pick it up at the friday that the results are out. You still have a week to pick it up, you have time until the next results show up.
