[Pokemon OR & AS] One thing I noticed on the GTS in Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire...

When I searched for Shaymin in the GTS, many of them appeared. My face was like, "Okay, so they allow them in OR & AS, but not X & Y. WHAT THE FRUITCAKE?!"

I thought Shaymin was an event Pokemon. But now it's allowed for trade in the GTS. What the heck just happened?

Is it a hack, or did they do it on purpose?

Don't really know, I guess Game Freak allowed it, since many other event Pokemon are still unavailable there (Mew, Arceus...). Jirachi can also be found in the GTS if I'm not mistaken

I'm hoping to obtain one on Omega Ruby by GTS trade. Either shiny or not, I'd still love it.

Usually, those who put Shaymin or Jirachi for trade ask for impossible Pokemons, such as Keldeo, meloetta, Mew, etc...but still, good luck! Sometimes I check the GTS too hoping to find a good deal, but I'm always out of luck...

I put a Lucario up for a Shaymin (which I highly doubt I'd get it because it's not what the person wants... >.&gt. They always want Pokemon that I don't really have (I do have some shiny legendaries in Pokemon X, but I'm not sure if I should put one of them up for trade...).

Meh, I don't know if I'll ever send away any of my legendaries, no matter if shiny or not But, if you so desperately want a Shaymin, you can consider it...there are other ways tho, I obtained a Jirachi for a Fletchling...

It may as well happen, many people clone their event Pokemon in massive amounts and use them to get hold of some other Pokemons they need, nevermind if they're worth much much less. That episode I mentioned above wasn't via GTS, it was a regular trade with a Gamefaqs user, so you may also look on different Pokemon forums if someone is willing to trade Shaymin...as I said, many people clone it and trade it. I guess my Jirachi was a clone too, but that guy needed a Fletchling with the hidden ability and I happened to have a ton, so...deal made

Don't give up, you'll have your Shaymin sooner or later

Well, I got a shiny Cresselia by Wonder Trade on Pokemon X, so I don't see how getting a Shaymin should be a problem on the GTS in Omega Ruby.

Oh man. If I knew how to clone, I might be able to trade for some of those Shaymin. So many shiny ones too. I won't give up my mew or manaphy... Blah. Its not the same as Gameboy cloning. :/

Well you need two 3ds and pokemon xy downgraded to the first version, then you can do it. Much like gb cloning...you trade a pokemon, then exactly 5 sec after the trade is done you turn it off. Done more or less this is the way, a pokemon gets lost between the dimensiojs wjile another gets cloned. Wish I could clone my jirachi too, i would gts trade as well.

Ya I saw that when I snooped. If I lost a pokemon I wanted cloned to a quick catch pokemon... I would probably be very unhappy. I think I figured out what happend in a trade I did with someone. The event was lost in attempt to clone. Rather not chance it.

I got an Arceus, its possible to get one.
